Dr. Yaman Altal, FRCS (Urol), is a UK-trained Consultant Urological & Andrological Surgeon and one of the leading voices in men’s health and prosthetic urology in the Middle East. With over 14 years of clinical experience in major London centers—including Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Trust and Imperial College London—Dr. Altal serves as Clinical Director of Urology at Abdali Hospital and Assistant Professor of Urology at Hashemite University.

He is internationally recognized for his high-volume expertise in penile implant surgery, erectile dysfunction management, Peyronie’s disease, and complex andrological reconstruction. Dr. Altal leads one of the region’s busiest implant programs and is designated as a Center of Excellence (COE) by multiple global device manufacturers, training surgeons from across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and the US.

With a strong academic foundation, he has completed multiple fellowships, published peer-reviewed research, and is actively involved in global education through surgical workshops, masterclasses, and international collaborations.

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Altal built the largest men’s health digital platform in the Arab world, with over 6 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. His mission is to simplify sexual-health conversations, break stigma, and empower men and couples through accessible, evidence-based education.

Dr. Altal is the founder of the Altal Urology & Andrology Institute and the upcoming APEX Academy, dedicated to training the next generation of prosthetic urologists and advancing excellence in men’s health.
