Day 1
Day 1 — Consultation and Evaluation
Meet Dr. Cavalcanti for an individual medical evaluation, discussion of your goals and preoperative planning. This is an example visit schedule; the treating team confirms your actual appointments.
Day 2
Day 2 — Procedure
If medically appropriate and scheduled, undergo the Himplant® procedure at the confirmed surgical facility. Arrange a responsible adult escort and facility-approved transportation; do not drive after surgery.
Day 3
Day 3 — Early Postoperative Care
Rest near the treating clinic and attend the scheduled postoperative evaluation. Follow the physician’s medication, wound-care, drain-care and activity instructions.
Day 4
Day 4 — Continued Follow-Up
Continue local recovery and attend any required follow-up. Avoid strenuous activity, extensive sightseeing, swimming, pools, hot tubs, spas and gyms until cleared by the physician.
Day 5
Day 5 — Evaluation and Possible Departure
Attend the planned postoperative evaluation. Travel only after the treating physician clears departure; your local stay may be extended according to healing and follow-up needs.

After graduating from the Federal University of Pernambuco in 2008, he completed two years of General Surgery and three years of Urology residency, finishing 11 years of formal medical and surgical education in February 2015. Dr. Cavalcanti founded Instituto Cavalcanti de Andrologia e Performance, a private practice focused on andrology, genital surgery and men's sexual health. His team includes urologists and healthcare professionals involved in coordinated care. Since 2022, he has mentored urology fellows in advanced andrological and penile surgical techniques.
