Dr. Karen Anahí Mendoza Bravo is a urologist and surgeon based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where she practices at the Vallarta Medical Center. She completed her urology residency at the Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad de la Península de Yucatán, followed by advanced training in Holmium laser prostate enucleation (HoLEP) at the Instituto Urológico de Invasión Mínima (UROMIN) in Guadalajara, and an international rotation in endourology and robotic and laparoscopic surgery at the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Maggiore della Carità in Novara, Italy. Her practice focuses on minimally invasive urology, including HoLEP and urodynamics, and she co-authored a chapter on pelvic organ prolapse in the textbook Fundamentos de Urología (Manual Moderno, 2021). She has presented at national congresses of the Mexican Society of Urology, and offers the Himplant® procedure to local and international patients, with care available in English and Spanish.
