Dr. Luis Fernando Castelltort has an extensive and solid record of continuous medical education focused on modern urology, male sexual health, and the responsible integration of advanced medical technologies. Throughout his career, he has completed multiple advanced training courses, hands-on workshops, and national and international preceptorships, with particular emphasis on functional urology, andrology, minimally invasive surgery, and patient quality of life.

His training includes advanced instruction in laparoscopic and robotic urologic surgery, endourology, and endoscopic prostate surgery (AEEP using different energy platforms), as well as specific certifications in robotic surgery (da Vinci system) and the use of internationally recognized medical technologies. He has also participated in academic and scientific programs organized by leading institutions such as the American Urological Association (AUA), the European Association of Urology (EAU), and the Confederación Americana de Urología, remaining up to date with clinical guidelines, consensus statements, and therapeutic advancements.

Additionally, he has completed observerships and preceptorships at high-level international centers, including training in prostate cancer, immunology in urology, and advanced surgical techniques in Europe. This experience strengthens his clinical judgment in appropriate patient selection and the responsible recommendation of innovative treatments.

This training supports his role within Himplant®, where he applies his academic and clinical expertise to individualized medical evaluation, the appropriate indication of aesthetic and functional solutions, and responsible patient follow-up—always guided by principles of safety, medical ethics, and evidence-based medicine, and subject to prior medical evaluation.
